7:40 am Pick-up from the hotel reception for the main port of Puno.
8:00 am Transfer from the Puno pier to the floating islands of the Uros. A boat trip where you can appreciate the natural beauty of Lake Titicaca, the Sacred Lake of the Incas, where the inhabitants are known for preserving their culture and traditional beliefs, expressed through their clothing, rituals, religion, etc.
12:30 pm Arrival at Amantaní Island, where the island’s residents will welcome us. We will settle into our rural houses. After lunch, each person will have one hour of free time to take a short tour of the island, take photos, and learn more about the place.
2:30 PM After lunch, we will meet at the designated location and then ascend to the two ceremonial temples, PACHA TATA and PACHA MAMA, where we will witness the beautiful sunset and the snow-capped peaks of Bolivia. We will also experience a unique event, including traditional dances performed by local people.
6:30 PM – Dinner at the host families’ homes
8:00 PM – Traditional dance gathering with local people.
• DAY 2:
7:00 AM – Breakfast at the host families’ homes
8:30 AM – Departure for Taquile Island.
9:30 AM On the boat trip, you will appreciate the natural beauty of Lake Titicaca, the Sacred Lake of the Incas, where the inhabitants are known for preserving their culture and traditional beliefs, expressed through their rituals, religion, and other practices. Then you will see the traditional clothing of the Taquile people, the rural houses, pre-Hispanic arches, and the 550 steps.
1:30 PM Return to the city of Puno.
3:20 PM Arrival in Puno.
